You are cordially invited to the first Social Action Australia talk which will be held at 7:30 pm on the 24th of March 2010 at the Country Women’s Association (CWA) at 3 Lansell Road Toorak. The talk will be given by Mr. David Cowling, a Board member of Social Action Australia and a committee member of the Australian National Flag Association (ANFA). Mr. Cowling’s talk is entitled, ‘The National Symbolism of the Flag, its Heritage and its Inclusiveness’.

The speaker will talk about the symbolism of the Australian flag and its integral connection to our federated governance.

The Australian flag is more than mere fabric but reflective of the substance of our unique democratic liberties and honour.

The talk will be held at the Country Women’s Association (CWA) at
3 Lansell Street Toorak on Wednesday the 24th of March 2010
7:00pm for a 7:30 pm start.

There will be ample opportunity to ask the speaker questions and/or make comment at the end of his talk.

Cool finger food and sandwiches will be provided with coffee/tea biscuits.

Cost $20.

Receipts will be issued on request. All monies will be forwarded to the CWA to cover catering costs.
